Term: West Spitzbergen current
Definition: The continuation of the Norwegian Current. It carries 3-5 Sv (3-5 x 10^6 m^3/s) of water from the Atlantic into the Arctic Ocean. Another 1 Sv enters the Arctic Ocean through the Barents Sea.
