Term: Glaze
Definition: A generally homogeneous and transparent deposit of ice formed by the freezing of supercooled drizzle droplets or raindrops on objects the surface temperature of which is below or slightly above 0 C. It may also be produced by the freezing of non-supercooled drizzle droplets or raindrops immediately after impact with surfaces the temperature of which is well below 0 C.
